Lagoons Villa - Bertiandos, located in the Protected Landscape of Bertiandos and São Pedro de Arcos Lagoon, houses a complex of lagoons (temporary and permanent). In a depression crossed by the Estorãos river (a tributary of the Lima) that once contained natural pastures and rice fields, the S. Pedro and Mimoso lagoons and the final section of the Estorãos are bordered by galleries of riparian vegetation. Surrounded by natural humid pastures with partitioned hedges, thickets of hardwoods and, on the hills adjacent to the lakes, by forest settlements (pine forests), agricultural practices subsist in the meadows and, in neighboring areas, there are neighboring vineyards and scattered olive groves.
